As am a fan of vintage style.... Jawapan bagi tajuk di atas haruslah AKU =D

Walaupun ramai maybe lagi suka sporty design shades macam Oakley sama Tag Heuer, tapi hatiku memang sudah sangkut & setia sama RB hoi yeah....

ak pakai US RB member ak, rasanya outdoorsman tapi memang syiok pakai okeh...

Walaupun orang kutuk cakap aviator tu sunglass mat-mat rempit, stok-stok Danau Kota (dekat je okeh ngan rumah ak, sepelaung je...) kebetulan la pulak kan, RB ni diminati oleh mat-mat rempit, but pedulikla... sebab orang yang kutuk nie tak appreciate design Aviator tu. Lagipun orang cool je pakai RB, hehehe kami tak heran ngan budak hingusan pakai oakley & tag hehehe =P

Macam bag Chanel Classic 2.55 Flap Bag be it lamb skin or caviar, Aviator also has its own history.

Mari kita imbau kembali sejarah Aviator Shades ini:

Asalnya in 1936 Ray Ban manufacturer (back then was Bausch & Lomb, now brand Ray Ban ini di bawah Luxxotica Group since 1999) telah come out with a design that helps US Air Force Pilots to overcome/ combat the blinding glare of the sun. Somemore, it was an issued item for the air force military.

That's why Aviator also known as the Pilot Glasses (Teringat colleague kat opis yang dok sebut pilot sunglass nie).

So, in short, yang technology polarized-polarized lense tu actually asalnya dari technology Ray Ban ni la. So jangan nak kerekla all those Oakley lovers yang dok kutuk-kutuk RB tu brand rempit... coz RB is the pioneer of polarized lense technology hokey~! Budak-budak pakai RB pon tak heran ngan oakley korang...

In 1937 plak, a year after it was created, this design was open to the public. So, starting this year banyak sunglass manufacturer adopt atau inspired dengan design Aviator ni. Apa-apa brand sekalipun, di seluruh dunia mesti atleast ada a handful of aviator inspired collection. But, Ray Ban is still remain the first Aviator Shades. That's is why people who likes Ray Ban Aviator will go for RB, no matter how bad budak hingusan kutuk RB.

Lepas Aviator, RB came out with design yang didevelope from Aviator such as Shooter, Outdoorsman, Caravan, Clubmaster... But as I would say, I still go for Aviator =)

Sama macam Channel Classic 2.55 Flap Bag which was designed in 1955, design nya masih & tetap sama sampai sekarang and tahun 2030, macam tu jugak dengan Aviator, the design will still remain classic, elegant & in style since 1936 sampai sekarang. So nak pass down kat anak (ke anak sedara) pon takda hal lah sebab design tak out of date... =D peace...

Tadi ak cakap pasal Aviator kan? Sekarang ak cakap pasal the brand pulak

Owh nak cakap pasal RB, sapa-sapa suka RB for fashion, bleh la go for mana-mana version be it US (B&L) or Italian made (Luxxotica). Mula-mula ak pun suka RB memang sebab esthatic value per se, tapi bagi peminat kipas-susah-mati RB plak, sah-sah mahu cari RB USA ORI sebab lense dia sangat berkualiti. Kira lagendary gitu sebab dia military technology. Tapi sebab dia adalah collectible item, maka harga RB US adalah sangat mahal (relative to my income) tapi quality tip top la kan... macam-macam beza, dari lense ke packaging.

In 1999, B&L yang da bankrupt hanya jual branding kepada Luxxotica BUT NOT the lagendary lense technology macam G-15, B-15, diamond hard, chromax, etc. Lagi pula, B&L da tak produce RB so the one yang ada kat pasaran skang nie obviously second hand item ataupun NEW BUT OLD STOCK ITEM. There should be no brand new US B&L RB. Harga pun memang kow2

Kira Italian RB ni knock-off item je la...for fashion purpose only... sebab esthatic design is remain te same. The best lense it can offer is the polarized technology. The same tech that is used for Oakley.

So sekarang ada paham ka kenapa budak-budak rempit or otai2 suka cari itu US made nye RB? It's not because of the rempit design, but because of the story lies within it. The sentimental value that you get when you really get to feel the authentic Ray Ban that's no longer produce. Feel ni akan sama bagi peminat Vespa Lambretta (macam ak) or peminat 1938 Beetle Volkswagen or 1959 Austin Mini Cooper. You can get newly design Bettle VW but it can never be like the one produced between 1938-2003. Same goes for RB =>

Oh untuk budak hingusan kerek suka Oakley, Luxxotica pun manufacturer for Oakley jugak okeh.... so takyah nak kerek... Aleast RB made in Italy, kalau Oakley mesti Made in China even pun ori kan kan kan?????

So, behold....

My new baby..... my own Aviator RB3025 by Luxxotica Italy, ni je termampu skang...next target plak ak nak cari authentic old timer RB by Bausch & Lomb Aviator for my own collection, satu lagi nak kasi sama bapak ak, ak plan mau kasik shooter or outdoorsman kot.. biar old school sket... Mesti stylo kami anak beranak pakai hehehe, Mak? hehe mak tak layan RB... bagi handbag sudey... Tapi US RB harga mesti kaw2 gile kot... lu or sapa-sapa ke jual original US RayBan contact gua okeh!!! Chiou... Eh bila plak nak bagi duit buat rumah nie kalau da shopping??? Adoi...
